Is PaymentWorks the same as Paymode?

PaymentWorks is the University’s supplier onboarding program. Paymode is a Bank of America program that pays suppliers who are enrolled via direct deposit. They are not the same.

As part of the PaymentWorks Program, we will be slowly phasing out Paymode as a method of payment as the ACH payments represent a direct replacement for electronic payments. This transition allows us to continue to build and improve on the electronic payments you have become accustomed to. By taking advantage of new technology, we can provide electronic payments in less time, directly through our new system.

Suppliers already enrolled in the Paymode program will continue to be paid with that method.  We will not be allowing new enrollments in the Paymode program.
