This Data Protection Addendum (“Addendum”) is an add-on to the Purchasing Terms and Conditions found at https://suppliers.uvafinance.virginia.edu/resources/terms-conditions. It is applicable only in those situations where the Selected Firm/Vendor provides goods or services under a Purchase Order which necessitate that the Selected Firm/Vendor create, obtain, transmit, use, maintain, process, or dispose of University Data (as defined in the Definitions Section of this Addendum) in order to fulfill its obligations to the University.

By registering as a supplier with the Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia or accepting a University-issued Purchase Order, the supplier acknowledges that the following ‘Purchasing Terms and Conditions’ are subject to change without prior notice. eVA is the Commonwealth of Virginia's eProcurement System. UVA hosts catalogs and delivers electronic orders through its own eProcurement System, the UVA Marketplace. However, state law requires that 75% of University purchasing dollars go to eVA-registered vendor ordering locations. Both vendors and UVA are assessed an eVA fee on all such orders, with some exceptions.
