Procurement's Supplier Diversity department is excited about what we're bringing to you in 2024! With new team members in place, and a strong commitment to increasing our engagement with local, small, woman-owned, and minority-owned businesses, we're primed for big things!
The University of Virginia spends $44.7 million with local suppliers. As a part of efforts tied to President Jim Ryan's local economy working group, however, we have committed to increasing the proportion of funds going to local businesses.
