Madhu Iyer says challenge, collaboration, autonomy, culture and helping others are what comes to mind when he thinks about what he’s experienced since joining the FST Team.
With experience in cutover management at Comcast and Arizona State University, Madhu, the new Cutover Lead, will develop execute activities related to Workday Financials go-live. This includes planning for the resources and tasks required for the cutover to the new system. His experience and work are integral to tailoring a strategy for managing all cutover activities pertaining to Workday Financials.
Even with a solid strategy and an experienced team to collaborate with, Madhu knows from experience that the Lead role at this critical point in the project presents interesting challenges, “We are looking at data migration, quality and assurance along with organizational changes as potential challenges that we’ll strategize around.”
Madhu graduated with a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering from Bangalore University and outside of work, enjoys riding bicycles and his motorbike during weekends.
He dedicates most of his time to being with his wife and two sons. But there are some four-legged family members who influence his work with UVAFinance, “I have two lovely German Shepherd dogs, and they adore me. They keep me cool-headed and always ready to focus on my work, especially through bringing happiness when I’m stressed.”
